NaNoWriMo Shirts

Congratulations to all the members of my region of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo.org). Whether you reached 50k or not, you were brave (aka insane) enough to take on the challenge and that's pretty darn incredible.

Below are the two logos for our Louisiana Elsewhere Region. If you would like a jpg file sent to you so you can create your own shirt, mug, or whatever, please email me and I will send the file to you. There are a number of sites where you can do this -- I usually use cafepress.com. By having the logo, you can decide for yourself what kind of shirt you want to put it on.

Thanks for being a wonderful region!! See you in November 2008! Or April if you decide to join us for ScriptFrenzy!

Christee,

Just to say I replied on Shauna's.

If you're passing, I posted on 'When Chicken's collide in Cyber Space' tonight (Main blog,Virtual Journey) - and there's a post in the Archives of the Journey called Dark Gold which just might appeal to your sense of humour. It's on manure...!

All the best,
J

Julie's "Dark Gold" had me laughing out loud through it.

Hey, I have a buddy deeply in to NaNoWriMo.

Just ran across the link to your blog on Shauna's site, and thought I would drop in and say hello.

Julie & Shauna -- Thanks bunches! I'm heading over in just a minute to check it out! Manure... Now that's my kind of humor!!

Sidney!!

I'm so excited to catch up with you again. I left a note to you on Shauna's blog too.

Catch me up!!!

Yeah -- I was the Municipal Liaison for NaNoWriMo for the Louisiana Elsewhere region and the ML for the state for Script Frenzy in June. It's such a kick.

And, of course, I had to be an ML because I had nothing else to do this month ... except a deadline for a business book, 2 major client projects, a virtual book tour, and buying a house. Yeah, I'm really good at planning...

So glad I quit my day job so I could lounge around and eat bon bons all day...

Ack!

Sounds like you're pretty busy. I live in East Texas now. My day job is advertising/marketing for a hospital system, and I do freelance writing projects both cool and uncool.

I adapted "War of the Worlds" for an audio drama set it the period of the novel that's now on Audible.com and iTunes, and I'm working on a comic book adaptation of "From the Earth to the Moon."

I guess the coolest overall thing lately is I got to be and extra in a scene in Matthew Broderick's new movie in Shreveport. I'm a lawyer in a courtroom scene.

Hope all goes well with your move and everything.
